Mechanism & Effect
  • According to the requirements of the Water-based paint system and coating method, different types of water-based wax products are selected, and the wax particles migrate to the coating surface to form a protective layer and change the physical properties of the coating surface. Usually, the coating varnish uses nano-scale wax emulsion, and the color paint uses micron size wax water dispersion.
  • It can improve the surface hardness of the coating, adjust the gloss of the coating (increase, extinction), adjust the rheology of the system, adjust the friction coefficient of the coating (increase or non-slip), adjust the feel of the coating (slippery, uncomfortable, oil, etc.), anti-block, anti-scratch, moisture-proof and water-repellent, grinding and polishing, silver powder directional arrangement, etc.

  • According to the coating's surface friction coefficient requirements, surface energy requirements, anti-abrasion requirements, gloss and transparency requirements and other functional requirements, choose different kinds of water-based wax products (wax hardness, polarity, melting point, particle size).
  • Considering the compatibility requirements of the system, it is generally necessary to consider the ionic form, solvent resistance, pH, viscosity and other factors of the emulsion system.
